Mascot designs wanted – Bullets look to fans for inspiration

The Brisbane Bullets are back, but there is one essential part of the team that is yet to be decided – the club mascot.

As the Bullets look to return to the top of Australian basketball, fans have a special opportunity to be part of club history and design the team’s new mascot for the 2016/17 NBL season.

In collaboration with Quest Community Newspapers, the competition will be open to local readers and basketball fans that can create a design that represents the “River City” of Brisbane and the Bullets iconic brand.

The mascot can be a person, character, animal or object that the wider community will identify with, as well as encourage players, entertain members and fans, and enhance the game-day entertainment experience.

Submissions can be provided in any format, with the winning design to be selected by a judging panel featuring Brisbane Bullets Assistant Coach CJ Bruton and announced on July 29, 2016

The winner will receive four (4) courtside tickets to the opening home game for the Brisbane Bullets in the upcoming 2016/17 NBL season and a signed, framed official playing jersey.

Competition entry forms will be available in all Quest Newspapers next week, or online from June
