The Brisbane Bullets have signed Mawot Mag as an Injury Replacement Player for Sam McDaniel. The versatile 6’6” wing most recently suited up for the Cairns Taipans.
Bullets Head Coach and President of Basketball Operations Will Weaver said Mag’s defensive versatility and character made him a key target during the offseason.
“Mo’s character and point-of-attack defence made him a target for us in the offseason. We’re excited about how he can help our team while Sam is out,” Weaver said.
Mag said he was excited by the opportunity to join the Bullets and contribute to the team’s journey.
“I’m really grateful for the opportunity to join Brisbane and be part of this organisation,” Mag said.
“The team has a lot of talent and has shown early signs of the trajectory they are heading in.
“I’m excited to get started, bring energy every day and contribute wherever I can.”
