The Brisbane Bullets are thrilled to announce the signing of American guard Josh Adams as a replacement player for James Batemon for the remainder of the NBL25 season.
Adams, a proven talent and former standout in the league, brings invaluable experience, a fearless competitive edge, and a winning mentality to the team as the Bullets push to strengthen their position on the ladder.
Adams is no stranger to NBL fans, having electrified the league during his previous stint with his athleticism, scoring ability, and leadership on the court.
He was a key player for the Tasmania JackJumpers in NBL22, where he led the team to a Grand Final appearance and earned a spot on the All-NBL Second Team for his outstanding performances.
With a professional career spanning multiple countries, including stints in the NBA Summer League, Europe, and Asia, Adams has consistently demonstrated his ability to adapt and excel at the highest levels of competition.
Brisbane Bullets Senior Basketball Advisor Stu Lash, expressed his excitement about the signing.
“Josh is an experienced player in this league and a fearless competitor. To add someone of his talent and character at this stage of the season will undoubtedly help our position on the ladder. We’re confident he will make an immediate impact both on and off the court.”
Head Coach Justin Schueller echoed Lash’s enthusiasm and highlighted the value Adams brings to the squad.
“Josh’s ability to perform under pressure and his versatility make him a perfect fit for our system. He’s a dynamic player who knows how to win, and his winning experience will be a huge asset as we make a playoff push. The team is excited to welcome him, and I have no doubt our fans will love seeing him back in action.”
Adams is set to join the team immediately and is expected to suit up for the Bullets’ upcoming home game on January 4, against Sydney Kings.
Fans can look forward to his trademark energy and highlight-worthy plays as he dons the Brisbane jersey and helps propel the Bullets into a strong position for the remainder of the season.
