The Brisbane Bullets announced they will call South Brisbane home, as their purpose-built High Performance Facility is soon to be completed.
The Bullets announced the move at the Cultural Forecourt in South Bank Parklands alongside special guests CEO of South Bank Corporation Bill Delves, CEO of Business South Bank Janine Watson, CEO of Basketball Queensland Josh Pascoe, Ink Duck architects, ENIXR built, and KS Property.
“This move is extremely important for the growth of the club, our brand development and for us to have a presence in the city,” CEO Malcolm Watts said.
“It's really important to the Brisbane Bullets that we're integrated into our communities that we operate in.”
Hostplus Head Coach Justin Schueller is excited by how the facility will benefit the team.
“We talked about last year being our foundation year, getting things back on track and now we've got an opportunity on top of that,” Schueller said.
“To have the whole club under one roof and continue to build our culture in that way is an exciting thing for us.”
