The Brisbane Bullets are set to take on the Adelaide 36ers tonight in the first of two pre-season games in Adelaide.
On Thursday the team travelled down to Adelaide under new travel protocols for the league this season and were without four big names – Jason Cadee, Will Magnay, Tamuri Wigness and Matthew Hodgson. Due to their individual season preparation plans, the boys will sit this one out, giving some of the Club’s newest and youngest talents a chance for some game time.
Head Coach Andrej Lemanis said: “We will be without some of our more experienced players but this provides an exciting opportunity for the younger guys on our roster to get plenty of court time.
“It’s exciting to be back playing competitive games and the Sixers provide quality competition this early in our preseason”.
Tonight’s game will include plenty of star power with new recruits Anthony Drmic, Tanner Krebs and Harry Froling pulling on a Bullets jersey for the first time, as well as the return of Nathan Sobey, Tyrell Harrison, Callum Dalton and Kian Dennis.
The Bullets are set to take on the Sixers in two games – Friday 13 November at Adelaide Entertainment Centre and Sunday 15 November at Titanium Security Arena.
The games will be live streamed via the NBL website and social media platforms.
