The Brisbane Bullets have landed a major mid-season boost, officially signing explosive American forward Terry Taylor for the remainder of the NBL26 campaign.
A proven game-changer with NBA pedigree and a reputation for relentless hustle, Taylor joins the squad immediately and will use the FIBA break to settle in and train with the team before returning to NBL action.
He replaces Jaylen Adams as the Club continues to sharpen its roster for a big second half of the season.
Standing at 196cm and built for impact, he is known for his elite rebounding instincts, second-chance scoring, defensive versatility and an engine that doesn’t switch off.
Taylor arrives in Brisbane following a strong season with the Stockton Kings in the NBA G League, where he delivered 16.5 points and 8.3 rebounds per game over 47 outings.
A former Indiana Pacer in the NBA who also spent time with the Chicago Bulls, Taylor has made a career out of elevating teams by doing the hard things that help win games.
Head Coach Stu Lash said Taylor brings the exact identity the Bullets want to embody.
“Terry is tough, selfless and plays with a competitiveness,” Lash said.
“We believe he complements our group and will make us even harder to play against.”
Taylor said he is excited to join a Club that matches his competitive mindset.
“From the outside looking in, you can see the Brisbane Bullets are building something,” Taylor said.
“I’m excited to come in, earn my minutes and add a piece that helps push us forward.
“I’m grateful for the opportunity and hungry to get to work,” he said.
Bullets CEO Malcolm Watts said the Club moved quickly and decisively to secure Taylor to ensure the team continues to strengthen throughout the season.
Taylor will join the team in training immediately as preparations continue for the next game on the road on Friday 5 December against the 36ers.
The club and Lachlan Anderson have mutually agreed to a release as part of this signing.
