The Brisbane Bullets and the Brisbane Bullets Community & Development department are pleased to welcome Dakabin State High School to the Brisbane Bullets Partner School program for 2023.

Dakabin State High School is a co-educational school of approximately 1000 students and is home to the Dakabin Dragons Basketball Academy. Positively impacting students in the north Brisbane region, the Dakabin State High School community supports their students far beyond the classroom to ensure they can contribute to society in a positive way.

Brisbane Bullets Head of Community and Development Jay McCracken is ecstatic to have Dakabin State High School on board.

“It’s fantastic to welcome Dakabin State High School into the Bullets family through our Partner School program. The program James and the rest of the basketball academy mentors have created greatly aligns with the vision and values we live at the Brisbane Bullets. This partnership continues to help us drive a positive impact within the community.”

Dakabin’s Basketball Academy Co-Ordinator, James Roche, is excited on the new partnership.

“We’re excited to work with the Brisbane Bullets. The core business of what we do is to provide our Basketball Academy students with the highest quality experiences and access to a range of opportunities. This partnership continues to make Dakabin State High School a pioneer in the high school basketball scene.”
