The Brisbane Bullets are thrilled to announce the signing of American Import, Keandre Cook for the 2024/25 NBL season on a 1-year deal.
The 6’5 athletic wing, joins the Bullets with vast experience playing all around the world. Known for his offensive efficiency and dynamic ability on both the offensive and defensive ends, the Maryland native had a stint in the G League with the Greensboro Swarm, following college where he played for Missouri State. He has also played in Hungary and France, before signing in Germany in 2023.
Cook most recently played for Crailsheim Merlins in the Bundesliga. Across the 2023/24 season the 27-year-old top scored for his side, averaging 14.5 points per game, 4.3 rebounds and 1.8 assists, while shooting a highly efficient 46% from beyond the arc.
Hostplus Head Coach Justin Schueller is looking forward to welcome Keandre to Brisbane.
“Keandre comes to us with great experience internationally and fits our needs of an impact scorer and high-level shooter,” Schueller said.
“He is able to impact the game at both ends of the floor and will be a perfect fit and compliment to the rest of the roster build”.
“His work ethic and character make him a valuable addition to our culture, and we look forward to the impact he will have on our team and city as we continue to move forward this season.”
Cook is eager to join the team in Brisbane and get started.
“I always dreamed of playing in Australia. I’ve heard nothing but great things about the country, and look forward to exploring Brisbane,” Cook said.
“What really excites me about joining the Bullets is the atmosphere of the fans. I can’t wait to feed off the energy of the home crowd!”
“The toughness and togetherness of the team was also a big draw for me.”
Keandre Cook joins Josh Bannan, Tyrell Harrison, Sam McDaniel, Mitch Norton, Casey Prather, Isaac White, Rocco Zikarsky, Deng Adel, Tohi Smith-Milner and Development Player Kye Savage on the Bullets roster for NBL25.
