Match Report: Brisbane finish pre-season campaign with a 3-1 record

The Brisbane Bullets can take alot of positives from their NBL Blitz campaign, finishing their pre-season schedule with a 3-1 record, after falling to the Adelaide 36ers 72-67 in their final match.
Both teams were without key pieces of their respective starting line-ups, with load and injury management a primary consideration 5 days out from tip-off of Round 1. This provided a great opportunity for some of the younger Bullets players to get some extended minutes on court and for the coaching staff to work through some different rotations ahead of the season proper.
Local Tasmanian product, Tanner Krebs played with high energy and had a solid all-round performance. In front of his home crowd, he stepped up to lead the Bullets with 15 points (50% FG) and 7 rebounds.
Veteran floor general, Jason Cadee was also back in the mix for the Bullets after missing the last couple of games due to illness. Cadee added 12 point and 3 assists and was a calming presence on the court for the young Bullets line-up.
NBL BLITZ V ADELAIDE HIGHLIGHTS
Next Star Tom Digbeu made some impressive plays, especially in the second half, attacking the rim on his way to 9 points and 5 rebounds. Jack Salt and Deng Deng also showed some great signs, both working hard on the boards and finishing with 9 rebounds apiece.
Brisbane will quickly set their sights to Round 1 where they will head back down to Tasmania to take on the JackJumpers at MyState Bank Arena on Friday December 3. The 6:30pm (AEST) match-up marks the first game of the NBL22 season and is one not to be missed. Bullets fans cans catch all the action on ESPN and via Kayo.
