Finals time is heating up in the NBL1 and multiple Bullets players took the court in the North and South competitions over the weekend.
In the North, teams were competing for a place in the Grand Final, while it was the first weekend of finals in the NBL1 South.
On Saturday night with spots in the Grand Final Series up for grabs, the Gold Coast Rollers took on the Northside Wizards, while USC Rip were up against Cairns Marlins.
Led by former Brisbane Bullet Anthony Petrie, Gold Coast booked their place in the Final with a 108-85 win over Northside.
Donovan Mitchell continued his stunning form for the Rollers delivering 35 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 blocks. Tanner Krebs was impressive with 19 points, 12 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals, while Jason Cadee played the distributor role impeccably with 17 points, 13 assists and 4 steals.

For the Northside Wizards, Lual Diing had a strong outing with 19 points and 6 rebounds.
On the Sunshine Coast, Kody Stattman’s Cairns Marlin were defeated by the USC Rip City, 90-63. Stattmann had 8 points, 6 rebounds and 3 steals in the game.
The best-of-three Grand Final Series will now get underway between the Rollers and Rip City on Friday, with the deciding games to follow on Saturday and if needed, Sunday. Gold Coast will host each game.
Harry Froling's Hobart Chargers have also qualified to host a preliminary final next weekend after defeating the Sandringham Sabres 73-55 in the qualifying final.
Froling was solid for the Chargers putting up 13 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists.
