Savage named NBL1 East Youth Player of the Year

Brisbane Bullets Development player, Kye Savage has been named the NBL1 East Youth Player of the Year.
Following an outstanding season, competing for Basketball Australia Centre of Excellence, Savage was selected for the award by conference coaches.
Averaging 13.9 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game, Savage was integral in BACOE’s run towards the NBL1 East semi-final. He had a season high of 38 points against Newcastle where he shot 7 of 9 from beyond the arc.
Despite, coming up just short of the grand final after a loss to Maitland last weekend, the team had a strong run, finishing 4th in the regular season with a 14-6 record.
Savage now turns his attention to preparing for his first NBL season with the Brisbane Bullets. Catch Kye and the Bullets in action in their first home game of NBL25 on 5 October 2024 against the Sydney Kings. Tickets available HERE.
