Brisbane Bullets guard Tyler Johnson has been nominated for the NBL23 Best Sixth Man Award.

Johnson has impressed for Brisbane this season, averaging 15.8 points at an efficient 49% from the field. He also averages 3.6 rebounds, 2.8 assists and has provided a strong spark off the bench on both the offensive and defensive ends of the floor.

The NBA veteran has made an impression both on and off the court for the Bullets in NBL23 with Hostplus Head Coach Greg Vanderjagt speaking highly of his character following the their Round 17 match.

“I can’t speak highly enough of him as a human being,” Vanderjagt said.

“He’s the ultimate team guy, he cares for everyone in the locker room, he does things for guys off the floor.”
