The Brisbane Bullets are thrilled to announce Tyrell Harrison has officially re-signed with the Club on a two-year deal—a decision that has been in the works for quite some time. As he prepares for his eighth season with the Bullets, the New Zealand international proudly cements his position as the longest-serving player on the roster.
Harrison enters NBL25 at the peak of his game, coming off the best season of his 113-game NBL career, showcasing his talents by participating in all but one game, averaging 9.6 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks, establishing himself as the starting center.
Head Coach Justin Schueller expressed his enthusiasm for Harrison’s extension, stating, “This is an important and positive signing for the club. Tyrell has done the work and shown he can be a key piece to our now and also the future.”
“He has consistently developed his craft through his daily habits, and we look forward to knowing he will continue that journey with us for some time.
“We are excited to keep adding pieces to our core that we know will allow us to build and sustain success in the future,” Schueller said.
The Brisbane Bullets have long recognised Harrison's impressive talent, even before he earned the Ray Borner Trophy as the NBL Blitz MVP. His steadfast commitment to improvement has consistently elevated his performance to new heights, establishing him as a crucial asset for the Bullets as the team looks to build on its recent successes.
Stu Lash, Senior Basketball Advisor, added, “Securing Tyrell for another two years is a testament to our long-term vision for the team. His journey with us has demonstrated not only his talent but also his leadership both on and off the court. We are excited to witness his continued growth and contributions to the Brisbane Bullets.”
Reflecting on his contract extension, Tyrell said, “This is another milestone for me. I’ve invested so much into my development at the Bullets, and I’m eager to contribute to the team’s future success. It’s a privilege to continue my journey here, and I’m committed to helping us achieve our goals.”
Fans can look forward to seeing Tyrell Harrison shine on the court as he continues to elevate his game and help lead the Bullets to victory in the seasons ahead.
