The Brisbane Bullets will honour Queensland basketballer Tiana Mangakahia with a special TOUGH4T Pink Hoops fixture against South East Melbourne Phoenix on Thursday 15 October at Brisbane Entertainment Centre.
The themed round will celebrate the legacy of Redlands-born WNBL star Tiana, whose courage and resilience throughout her breast cancer journey inspired thousands both on and off the basketball court.
Tiana began her basketball journey with the Australian Institute of Sport and Townsville Fire before heading to the United States in 2017 to play college basketball at Syracuse University.
She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2019 while playing for Syracuse, returning to the court and earning selection in the bronze medal-winning Australian Opals squad at the 2021 FIBA Asia Cup.
Tiana later played for the Sydney Flames before transitioning into coaching. In April 2025, she returned to playing, joining the Southern Districts Spartans for the 2025 NBL1 North season.
TOUGH4T was established to continue Tiana's legacy by supporting young women under the age of 40 who are facing breast cancer.
The charity believes no one should have to navigate a breast cancer diagnosis alone, working to empower individuals and families and ensure they feel seen, heard and supported before, during and after treatment.
As part of the fixture, Bullets members and fans are encouraged to wear pink to show their support, while Bullets players will wear specially designed pink shooting shirts throughout the game.
The shooting shirts will be put up for auction in the lead up to the game with proceeds donated to TOUGH4T to support its ongoing work with young women and families affected by breast cancer.
