Bullets NBL21 Schedule Adjusted But Not Affected

The NBL have today confirmed a change to the Hungry Jack’s NBL season schedule off the back of a number of challenges and travel restrictions put in place due to COVID-19, with the Bullets opposition teams now different to the original fixture released in December.
Due to the current situation around the country, the NBL will release a rolling schedule, with the first two rounds released today publicly.
The Brisbane Bullets tip-off their season at Nissan Arena against the Sydney Kings on Saturday 16 January at 7:00pm, with the Bullets welcoming last season’s minor premiers to Brisbane.
It’s back-to-back home games to start NBL21 with Melbourne United are coming to town for a 6:30pm start on Thursday 21 January.
In game two of Round 2, it’s the Australia Day blockbuster with Nissan Arena set to host its’ own party with the The Hawks coming to Brisbane for a family-friendly tip-off of 2pm.
CEO Peter McLennan is happy with the outcome and understands the need to be agile in this forever-changing environment.
“As a club and league we fully understand the need to make the necessary adjustments as news comes to hand,” he said.
“We are appreciative of the fact that we’ve been able to keep the same dates and times for our games, meaning our members and fans know they will be able to get to Nissan Arena to see the players in action, without having to make changes to their plans.
“We know in the current climate that we will need to adapt and change at different times, but the Bullets are committed to doing everything we can to get NBL21 up and running.”
Tickets are now on-sale for all scheduled matches at Nissan Arena and can be purchased here.
Games will be broadcast live on SBS, ESPN and Sky Sports (NZ) as well as being streamed on NBL TV and Twitch, with games also available for co-streaming on Twitch.
