The Brisbane Bullets are thrilled to launch the NBL23 Retro Jersey. The uniform honours the Bullets first NBL uniform when the team entered the NBL as one of the foundation teams in 1979.
The uniform also features the name of every past and present Brisbane Bullets player, celebrating the rich history of the Club over a number of decades.
The Bullets first ever NBL uniform in 1979 was red. The iconic red and white colour scheme was also originally the Brisbane Amateur Basketball Association colours based on the Brisbane floral emblem the red poinsettia.

Brisbane wore red for the first few seasons in the League, however Brisbane City Council introduced a new corporate colour scheme and Coat of Arms in 1982 and the Bullets followed suit shortly thereafter, changing to the blue and gold then too. Blue representing the sea and the Brisbane River which flows through the city, and gold representing the sun and the city's warm climate.
The Bullets will wear the heritage uniform in Round 16, during the league wide Heritage Round. During Round 16, the Bullets take on the Adelaide 36ers on January 19 at Nissan Arena.
The Bullets Heritage Round jerseys will go on sale online at the BSTORE from January 11 and at the IAthletic merchandise store at Nissan Arena at the Round 15 game onwards.
