A number of our Brisbane Bullets took to the court over the weekend in the NZNBL and NBL1.

In New Zealand, Tyrell Harrison dominated the paint on both ends of the floor for the Franklin Bulls. Ty contributed 20 points, 12 rebounds, six assists and four blocks in his team’s win over the Nelson Giants. Next up Ty and the Bulls face the Canterbury Rams on Saturday 22 April.

Nathan Sobey was hot from beyond the arc in the NBL1 North scoring 27 points on nine made threes, and added three rebounds and three assists as his Ipswich Force defeated the South West Metro Pirates to remain undefeated in the competition thus far. Sobey will be back on court with the Force on Friday 21 April against Townsville.

Further South, Sam McDaniel and his Hobart Chargers split their double over the weekend. Sam was solid in both outings, finishing with 22 points, 11 rebounds and two assists in their loss to Dandenong and contributing 17 points, four rebounds, five assists and three steals in their 108- 99 win over the Ringwood Hawks.

Sam and the Chargers next play on Friday 21 April against the Ballarat Miners.

Isaac White had a bye last round but will be back in Brisbane for a triple header with the Mackay Meteors this upcoming weekend starting with Brisbane Capitals also on Friday 21 April.

You can catch the boys in action via NBL1 website or app and the NZNBL livestreamed on the FIBA Youtube channel.
