The Brisbane Bullets are pleased to announce the signing of US Import Andrew White III for the remainder of the NBL23 season.
The 201cm Virginia native is an athletic small forward with NBA, G-League and European experience. White III most recently played in the Turkish Division 1 League with Buyukcekmece.
He spent time with the Atlanta Hawks in 2018 on a two-way contract, splitting his time with the NBA and their G-League affiliate, the Erie Bay Hawks.
In his senior year of college at Syracuse, White III set a school season record with 109 3-pointers. Across the season he also led the team in scoring with 18.5ppg.
“Andrew’s ability to play multiple positions will benefit our team and give much needed depth to the roster,” Hostplus Head Coach Sam Mackinnon
“Playing overseas and understanding the requirements to be a pro were considerations when we signed Andrew.”
In signing White III, Lual Diing will sign a mutual release from his current contract and his Development Player contract will be reinstated.
