The Brisbane Bullets are excited to announce a new partnership with St Laurence’s College, officially joining as a school partner in a collaboration that celebrates shared values of excellence, community, and youth development.
This exciting partnership is set to deliver exceptional opportunities, not just for students but also for staff and wider College community.
Through this partnership, Lauries students will benefit from high performance coaching and athletic development delivered by expert coaches from the Brisbane Bullets Academy.
These sessions will take place both on campus and at the state-of-the-art Brisbane Bullets High Performance Centre (HPC), providing students with access to elite-level training environments.
In addition to student development, the Brisbane Bullets will play a key role in supporting the professional growth of our coaching staff, enhancing their skills and knowledge.
This will directly contribute to the continued growth and quality of the Lauries Basketball program.
"We are thrilled to partner with the Brisbane Bullets," said College Principal Mr Ben Lowrie.
"This collaboration aligns perfectly with our commitment to excellence in sport and education and we look forward to the many opportunities it will bring to our students and staff.”
Brisbane Bullets CEO Malcolm Watts also expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership.
“We’re proud to partner with St Laurence’s College - a school with a strong reputation for excellence and a genuine commitment to developing well-rounded young students," Watts said.
"Their long-standing relationships with leading professional sporting codes reflect a clear focus on opportunity and growth.
"Together, we’ll help create pathways that inspire students to aim high, stay connected and thrive through the power of Basketball.”
