The Brisbane Bullets have announced they will leave for Perth tomorrow, December 6, ahead of consecutive matches against the Wildcats on December 12 and December 17.
The Bullets decision to fly to Perth earlier than planned, was made in consultation with the NBL, and due to uncertainty with the Western Australian border.
CEO Peter McLennan said, “Given the unknown situation with the Western Australian border and amidst recent announcements of locally acquired cases in South-East Queensland, we have decided it’s best for the team to fly to Perth early.”
“This will ensure we are able to get into Western Australia and continue preparations ahead of our next two matches against the Wildcats in Perth.”
“We knew coming into this season that we would need to stay flexible in our approach and we will continue to be guided by the advice of the relevant state health authorities.”
