The Brisbane Bullets have welcomed a familiar name back into the fold, signing Callum Dalton as a Nominated Injury Replacement Player for the NBL26 season.
Dalton’s basketball story is deeply intertwined with Bullets history - his father, Mark Dalton, was a key figure in the NBL and proudly wore Brisbane colours during his storied career.
Now, Cal steps onto the court with the same determination, carrying on the family legacy in blue and gold.
Head Coach Stu Lash said bringing Dalton in was about more than just filling a spot on the roster.
“Cal’s presence gives us the depth and flexibility to be ready for anything this season throws at us,” Lash said.
“He’s a high-character player who has been putting in the work, and he’ll be ready to step up if called upon.”
As an Injury Replacement Player, Dalton will train alongside the full squad throughout the season, sharpening his game while helping push his teammates in preparation for game day.
His addition ensures the Bullets remain fully prepared for any eventuality, with another committed, skilled player ready to contribute when needed.
Dalton said the opportunity to represent the Bullets holds special meaning.
“To have the chance to be part of the Club for the NBL26 season is something I’m really proud of. I’m here to work hard and help the team in any way I can.”
With the NBL26 season just around the corner, Dalton’s signing is a reminder of the Club’s commitment to leaving no stone unturned in its preparation.
Whether on the training court or ready to step into the lineup, Cal Dalton will be bringing the same grit, pride and passion that has long been part of the Dalton name in Australian basketball.
