The Brisbane Bullets would like to acknowledge the fantastic contribution of our Principal Partner St Genevieve throughout the NBL23 season and highlight their generosity.
Each home game during the season, one of our amazing member’s and fans was selected to shoot a half-court shot for the opportunity to win cash, with the jackpot increasing by $1000 each game.
Although there were some very close attempts, the half-court shot was not made in the end. However, St Genevieve has kindly donated the $15,000 to Homes for Homes, a wonderful organisation that raises funds to create more social and affordable housing.

St Genevieve’s Owner and Company Director Ingrid Matruglio said, “Homelessness is a complex and pressing issue that affects so many in our communities. St Genevieve is not wanting to just make a donation, we are committed to making a difference." |
Homes for Homes National Operations Manager, Tracy Longo, thanked the Bullets and St Genevieve for their donation.
‘The Brisbane Bullets and St. Genevieve have demonstrated great leadership in their donation and support of Homes for Homes, and we thank them for their generosity. This donation of $15,000 will be used to create social and affordable housing, helping to end homelessness in Australia,’ Longo said.
Learn more about Homes for Homes below or head to their website for more information:
Homes for Homes raises funds to create social and affordable housing through voluntary donations from homeowners and renters. Residents agree to register their property with Homes for Homes, which enables a tax-deductible donation of 0.1% of the sale price (or rent) to flow to Homes for Homes. Funding is pooled and granted to experienced housing providers to increase the supply of social and affordable housing.
Homes for Homes now has granted more than $1.4 million in funds across 17 projects, providing housing for over 300 people experiencing homelessness, disadvantage and marginalisation.
