NBL1 Update: Bullets produce strong performances across the league

There were plenty of Brisbane Bullets players in action over the weekend in Round 9 of the NBL1 across Australia.
In NBL1 South, Harry Froling had himself a game on Saturday night as the Hobart Chargers defeated the Mt Gambier Pioneers 92-82. Froling finished with 43 points, 16 rebounds, two assists and two steals on the back of shooting 14/21 from the floor and 7/11 from beyond the arc.

On Sunday, the Chargers were able to rest some of their key players in a convincing 89-61 win over Keilor, with Harry playing limited minutes for seven points and five rebounds.
Moving to Queensland in the NBL1 North, the Bullets newest signing Lual Diing had an outstanding game on Friday night with 30 points (46.2 FG%), 11 rebounds and 3 blocks. Despite his efforts, the Northside Wizards were defeated 98-89 by the visiting Darwin Salties.
In North Queensland, Kody Stattmann put together a strong performance in the Cairns Marlins 118-81 victory over Townsville. Stattmann had 25 points, shooting 62.5% from the field, including 5-8 from the three point line.

In exciting news for both Bullets and Gold Coast Rollers fans, DJ Mitchell took to the court for his first NBL1 game on Saturday night, in the battle of the Coast.
The Rollers came out on top 99-92, with Jason Cadee putting on a dominant display scoring 35 points and 6 assists. Tanner Krebs added 14 points and 6 rebounds, while DJ impressed in his first outing with 10 points and 7 rebounds in limited minutes.
