The Brisbane Bullets are back home for their first game of 2023 on New Years Day against Melbourne United.
Following an entertaining win in front of their vocal home crowd against Perth, on Tuesday night, the Bullets fought hard but were defeated by the 36ers in Adelaide on Thursday 87-84.
After string of games missing a big chunk of their line-up, last round saw the return of Tanner Krebs, Tyler Johnson and Gorjok Gak who each made a positive impact in their time on court.

KEY MATCH UP
TYLER JOHNSON VS CHRIS GOULDING
The two experienced sharp shooters both have the ability to have a big impact for their respective teams and can be lethal from beyond the arc.
Tyler Johnson is currently averaging 13.8 ppg and shooting 50% from the field. The 350+ game NBA veteran’s presence has been felt in his return from injury. His ability to get two feet in the paint and create for others is a great asset. Chris Goulding is averaging 16.1 ppg. Having just played his 400th NBL game, Goulding’s talent and experience makes him a tough guard for all teams.
ON THE RECORD
Following the Bullets away game against the 36ers on Hostplus Head Coach Greg Vanderjagt said, "I'm really proud of the group in the second game in three nights and being on the road.
"We got stomped on here last time as well but I'm disappointed obviously in the outcome because I thought we gave ourselves opportunities to win.
"The players put themselves in positions of strength and we defended really, really well in the second half holding that team to 33 in the second half after giving up 54 in the first half,” Vanderjagt added.
