Brisbane Bullets guards, Nathan Sobey and Isaac White will face off this Saturday 10 June, when their NBL1 North teams go head-to-head.
For the Mackay Meteors, Isaac White has been on a tear this season, leading the NBL1 North in scoring, with 33.2 points per game at 51.2%. He’s twice had a season high of 40 points and is also averaging 5.4 assists and 6.4 rebounds per game.
Nathan Sobey has also had a stand out season for the Ipswich Force, averaging 21.7 points, 4.2 assists and 4.6 rebounds per game. He has also eclipsed the 40-point mark, with a season high of 41 points so far this season.
The game on Saturday night between the 3rd placed Ipswich Force and 5th placed Mackay Meteors will be the Force and Sobey's second of the weekend. They play Rockhampton tonight in the first of their road double.

Sam McDaniel and the Hobart Chargers don’t have a game in the NBL1 South this weekend, but will be back on the road for a double header next weekend. McDaniel is averaging 21 points, 8 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game while shooting 46.5 % from the field. The defending champion Chargers are sitting a spot outside the top eight with five rounds remaining.
Overseas, Donovan Mitchell’s Slask Wroclaw are down 3-0 in the best of seven finals series against Szczecin Kings in the Polish Basketball League Championship series. Game 4 is scheduled for tomorrow morning (10 June) at 4am AEST.
