The Brisbane Bullets have strengthened their coaching team with the addition of Alex Grossman.
A young coach with a breadth of experience, Grossman is a graduate of the NBA’s Future Basketball Operations Stars program which featured an opportunity to work at NBA All-Star Weekend 2026 and the NBA Draft Combine.
He has developed a vast skillset in player development, scouting, and basketball operations within various roles.
Most recently with the Surrey 89ers in the British Super League, he led practice planning, opposition scouting, and game strategy, while leading individual development through skill work and film.
He also supported recruitment and club growth initiatives, helping guide Surrey to the 2025–26 SLB Cup Semi-Finals.
Prior to that, he was Director of Program Development at a highly successful Columbia Women’s Basketball program that won two Ivy League titles and featured in March Madness.
“Having this opportunity to join the Bullets and help Will bring his vision to life is a tremendous privilege," Grossman said.
"The club has enormous potential and I'm going to pour everything I have into helping unlock it.
On a personal note, some of my fondest childhood memories are from time spent in Brisbane. I can't wait to return to the city and get to work."
Head Coach Will Weaver believes the addition of Grossman can aid his coaching team in their ambition to work meticulously and leave no stone unturned.
“Alex has a strong understanding of how detail and preparation translate to performance,” he said.
“He’s already shown an ability to impact winning environments through his work in scouting, development, and day-to-day program structure.”
