The Brisbane Bullets will soon be located in the heart of the city, with construction underway on a purpose-built High Performance Centre in South Brisbane.
The facility made possible by Bullets partner KS Property, is architecturally designed by Ink Duck and will provide elite-performance infrastructure for the Club. This will include a new gym, FIBA approved court, shooting bays, enhanced treatment and recovery spaces, in addition to administration office spaces and a player lounge. There will also be a merchandise store at the front of the building for members and fans.
Lead contractor ENIXR’s ability to deliver the Bullets High Performance Centre will have instant benefits for the Club, with players, coaches and administration able to operate under one roof.
Brisbane Bullets Chief Executive Officer Malcolm Watts said the new headquarters in South Brisbane will be an important step forward for the Club.
“For the Brisbane Bullets to finally have a home that is fit for purpose will be a game changer and provides a significant platform for the club to perform on and off the court,” Watts said.
“The Brisbane Bullets have been out of sight and out of mind for too long. To be able to bring the club to the heart of the city will reinstil the emotional connection that the Brisbane community has with this amazing organisation.”

The infrastructure will also provide a dedicated space to grow pathways and development programs, strengthening the Club’s links to community basketball in South East Queensland. The Bullets have already launched a successful partnership with TAFE Queensland’s Academy of Sport in Southbank, with a specialised program delivered to senior high school basketball athletes.
The Club is also in deep discussions with a number of prominent schools in the area and have future plans to launch a Junior Academy, providing access to high level coaching and performance programs.
The location of the High Performance Centre is an added benefit for the Club and their partners, allowing for increased brand presence and exposure, with over 4 million vehicles passing by the South Brisbane location annually.
The facility is due to be completed in late July 2024. Stay tuned via brisbanebullets.com.au and Brisbane Bullets socials for more updates about the official opening.
