Nathan Sobey has been named captain of the Brisbane Bullets for NBL24, with Aron Baynes and Mitch Norton also named in the leadership group.
The trio were selected by their coaches and teammates to lead the new era of the Bullets into the upcoming season.
All three have vast experience, both locally and internationally, having each represented Australia on numerous occasions.
They will be looked upon to lead from the front and set the standard both on and off the court in NBL24.
Nathan Sobey enters his tenth NBL season, having spent the past four of those with the Bullets. His preparation and performance at the elite level is second to none.
Aron Baynes is a true veteran, having played over 500 NBA games including winning an NBA Championship. The experience he brings to the group is immense.
In his first season with the Bullets, but entering his 13th NBL season, Mitch Norton has made an immediate impact. With championship experience, he knows what it takes to succeed in the NBL.
Sobey feels a huge amount of pride, having been elevated to the lead the team for the upcoming season.
“It means a lot first and foremost,” Sobey said about being named Brisbane Bullets Captain for NBL24.
