The Brisbane Bullets are pleased to announce Gorjok Gak has signed for NBL23 on a one-year deal.
The 211cm centre, played college basketball at the University of Florida, and most recently California Baptist University where he averaged 13.5ppg and 10.3rpg and was named in the Second Team All WAC (Western Athletic Conference), All-Defensive Team and All-Newcomer Team in his senior season.
“At 6 foot 11, Gorjok has size, length and athleticism, and we believe he has the potential to be an elite defender in our league.” General Manager of Basketball Sam Mackinnon said.
“One thing that impressed me was his shooting ability. It’s something that hasn’t really been tapped into and we’re looking forward to get to work to develop that side of his game.”
Hostplus Head Coach, James Duncan is pleased to welcome Gorjok to the Bullets.
“We’re excited to bring Gorjok into the Brisbane family. His rim protection, energy and athleticism is a great addition to our roster,” Duncan said.
“His versality enables us to play multiple defences and his ability to finish above the rim is a great asset. He’s eager to continue his development and we look forward to working with him.”
Gorjok Gak joins Nathan Sobey, Jason Cadee, Tyrrell Harrison, Tanner Krebs, DJ Mitchell, Harry Froling, Kody Stattmann and development player Lual Diing on the Brisbane Bullets 2022/23 roster.
