The tallest player in the NBL, Tyrell Harrison, has today committed to the club for a further two years, through until the end of season 2022-23.
Standing at 214cm, the 22-year-old has been with the club since he was 17 and has continued his rise to this year, where he has been a regular starter as part of the Brisbane Bullets side.
The local product has suited up in all 26 Bullets games this season, taking his career tally to 42 since joining the squad back in 2017.
“It’s great to have my future sorted,” Harrison said of his re-signing.
“Being a local Brisbane guy and having all my friends and family here made it a relatively easy decision.
“I joined the club not long after they came back into the League and I really want to be here and contribute to winning a championship. We’ve got a good group of guys here and I enjoy coming to work each day.
“I want to continue to develop as a player and I feel I’ll be able to do that being a Brisbane Bullet.”
GM of Basketball, Sam Mackinnon, has been impressed with Harrison’s continued development.
“Tyrell has had a breakout season having started a number of games and has had multiple double-digit rebounding performances,” he said.
“Both Tyrell and the club have worked on his development and growth on and off the court.
“I expect him to continue learning and I know he’ll be working hard to establish himself as a quality big man in the NBL.
“We’re excited to see what the next two years brings.”
