The Brisbane Bullets have signed Hunter Clarke as a Development Player for the NBL23 season.
The 196cm guard, attended the Basketball Australia Global Academy and the Centre of Excellence, has had international experience representing Australia and had a brief stint in college at Montana before returning to Australia during the Covid period.
General Manager of Basketball Sam Mackinnon said, “Hunter’s basketball IQ and size make for a long-term proposition for the club."
“We believe Hunter will thrive in this environment with players like Cadee and Sobey to expedite his development.”
Hostplus Head Coach James Duncan welcomed Hunter to the Bullets.
“We are excited to bring Hunter into the fold with the team. He brings good size and strength to the point guard position, and we look forward to developing him further,” JD said.
“His attitude has been great since arriving here in Brisbane and adds to our competitive practice environment.”
Hunter is looking forward to being a part of the Bullets squad for NBL23.
“I’m incredibly excited to jump on board with the Bullets this year. I feel as though competing with and against such an elite group of guards such as Tyler, Sobey and Jason, is an opportunity that can’t be replicated elsewhere and one that I’ll benefit from significantly,” Clarke said.
Hunter Clarke joins Aron Baynes, Tyler Johnson, Nathan Sobey, Devondrick Walker, Jason Cadee, Tyrrell Harrison, Tanner Krebs, DJ Mitchell, Harry Froling, Kody Stattmann, Gorjok Gak, development players Lual Diing, Matt Johns and nominated replacement player Rasmus Bach on the Brisbane Bullets 2022/23 roster.
