BRISBANE BULLETS 86 (Johnson 24, Sobey 16, Cadee 14)

Jason Cadee will take to the floor for the 350th time in the NBL. The veteran point guard has had an outstanding career so far and is proving with each season how valuable he is to a team and Club both on and off the court.
KEY MATCH UP
NATHAN SOBEY vs JOSH MAGETTE
Nathan Sobey put together a first half masterclass in Round 5 against the Hawks. Working his way back from injury, Sobey displayed his elite talent, knocking down his first four three’s and finishing at the rim with ease. He continued to make an impact in the second half, distributing the ball to his teammates and getting after it on the offensive end. Sobey is currently averaging 11.9ppg, 4.4apg and 3.9rpg. As he continues to build game by game, he'll prove difficult to stop for opposition guards.
Josh Maggette is a true floor general and can make a huge impact on the game in a number of ways. His ability to knock down threes and distribute the ball makes him one to watch. Averaging 9.8ppg, 4.9apg and 3rpg, Magette is growing with each game this season. The matchup between Sobey and Magette will be an exciting one to watch.
ON THE RECORD
Following a 25-point win last Thursday night Bullets lifted to a 2-5 record on the season and Froling says the team was always confident things would turn around.
“We come in, we’ve got our leaders, they take responsibility and we take responsibility. We come out and we’re just playing as a team,” Froling said.
“That’s a real special thing. We are going to put it together.”
“It’s going to take a bit of time and it’s just a good group to be around … top to bottom,” Froling added.
“Guys are getting healthy and I think that and the chemistry they are building with one another, when they are going to be on the floor at the right times and communicating with one another that’s huge for us,” Hostplus Head Coach James Duncan said following the Bullets last game.
“It’s just taking a little bit longer time than we’d want, but that’s just part of our process,” Duncan added.
