The Brisbane Bullets took care of business in Tasmania, cruising past the New Zealand Breakers 92-74, on the back of a strong all round performance.
Jason Cadee had another outstanding game, reaching 3000 career points after recording his equal highest score as a Bullet, with 22 points (83% 3PT) and tied his career high of nine assists.
Robert Franks was impressive, finishing with his sixth double-double of the season with 23 points (70% FG) and 10 rebounds. Whilst Isaiah Moss was efficient on both ends of the floor finishing with 10 points (57% FG).
As a team, the Bullets shot 56.9% (33-from-58) from the field, the best by any team in NBL22, while 55% (11-from-20) from long range equalled the best by any team this season.
Brisbane distributed the ball well finishing with 23 assists and outrebounded the Breakers 43-29.
Brisbane got out to a flying start, scoring 12 of the game's first 13 points. To New Zealand's credit, they were able to work their way back into the contest.
The Bullets again pulled away early in the second quarter scoring seven consecutive points, but again New Zealand responded to go on their own run of the next 10 of 12 points to take back the lead thanks to Finn Delany.
The seesawing momentum continued with Brisbane closing the half with a 9-1 run, to lead 39-31 at half time.
Cadee caught fire, making sure the game didn’t remain in the balance for long, draining two open threes to start the second half. He then took it inside for a three-point play, starting the third quarter with 9 straight points.
Moss also connected from deep for 12 straight points for the Bullets, capping an 18-0 run overall and extending their lead to 20 points.
By three quarter-time, Brisbane extended their lead to 23. Both teams had their moments in the fourth quarter, but it was the Bullets who came out on top by 18, their largest winning margin in NBL22.
