The Brisbane Bullets are proud to announce the signing of 21-year-old forward Jensen Bradtke as a Development Player for the upcoming NBL26 season, continuing a special family legacy within the Club.
Jensen is the son of two-time Grand Slam winner and Olympic bronze medallist, Nicole Bradtke, and Australian basketball legend and four-time Olympian Mark Bradtke.
Mark played an integral role in the Bullets’ storied history and was part of the 2007 Brisbane squad that reached the NBL Grand Final. Now, nearly two decades later, his son is ready to forge his own path in Bullets blue and gold.
Standing at 6’10”, Jensen brings size, shooting ability, work ethic and a gritty inside presence to the Bullets’ frontcourt.
Currently suiting up for the Gold Coast Rollers, Bradtke is delivering a strong NBL1 season, averaging 19.1 points, 9.4 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game.
Known for his physicality, rebounding and team-first mentality, Bradtke has been steadily developing his game across the past few seasons and now steps into his first official NBL contract - one the Club believes is well-earned.
“It means the world to sign with the Bullets,” said Bradtke.
“Knowing Dad played here makes it extra special, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to learn and grow alongside the guys in this environment. I’m ready to work hard and contribute however I can.”
Jensen spent time developing his game overseas in the United States, including a stint at the University of Montana Grizzlies, gaining valuable experience in a competitive NCAA Division I program.
Head Coach Stu Lash said Jensen is a natural fit for the culture the Club is building.
“He’s got size, he’s tough, and he’s hungry to improve and that’s exactly what we want from our development players,” said Lash.
“We’re excited to have him join the group and take the next step in his professional basketball journey.”
