The Brisbane Bullets are proud to continue our new Girls Got Game Program, these school holidays!
Our new Girls Only Program is aimed to attract more girls to basketball, and physical activity by providing opportunities for them to develop and grow more confidence on and off the court. It is our vision to increase female participation in basketball, to promote inclusion in a fun and safe, learning environment.

The addition of the Bullets ‘Girls Got Game’ program aligns with “Activate! Queensland’s" key priorities to inspire female participation and helps remove participation barriers.
- Providing a positive sporting experience through basketball, and space for confidence to build within a psychologically safe environment.
- Bringing together females from various social and economic groups who share a common connection around basketball.
- Raising the profile of female sport, and specifically basketball leading in to the 2022 Women’s FIBA World Cup hosted by Australia.
- Providing an opportunity for female coaches and leaders to inspire the youth of tomorrow, alongside their own development opportunities and pathways.
We are excited to watch this program grow and continue to get young females around South East Queensland involved in a healthy, activate lifestyle through basketball.
