New Brisbane Bullets signing, Deng Adel has been named to South Sudan's extended roster for the 2024 Olympics.
South Sudan has released a 50-player training camp longlist ahead of its inaugural Olympic campaign later this year.
The Bright Stars are preparing to contest their first ever Olympic Games in Paris just 12 months after finishing 17th in their maiden FIBA World Cup campaign in 2023.

This preliminary squad will be cut down to the final 12-person roster over the coming months, ahead of the Paris Olympics, which has grouped South Sudan with the United States, Serbia and the winner of the qualifying tournament in Puerto Rico (between Bahrain, Ivory Coast, Italy, Lithuania, Mexico and hosts Puerto Rico).
