Tanner Krebs re-signs with Brisbane for NBL23

The Brisbane Bullets are pleased to announce Tanner Krebs has re-signed with the Brisbane Bullets for the NBL23 season.
The 198cm Tasmanian, known for his tenacious defence and offensive versatility, averaged 4.5ppg, 2rpg, shooting 40% from the field. He had a standout performance in the Bullets final game of this season with 20 points at an efficient 47%.
Tanner is currently playing NBL1 with the Gold Coast Rollers, alongside fellow Brisbane teammate Jason Cadee. Krebs is dominating the NBL1, averaging 28ppg, 10rpg and 3.3apg
“Every team wants a guy like Tanner. He works hard, competes every day and is well respected by his peers,” General Manager of Basketball, Sam Mackinnon said.
“This is Tanner’s third year as a pro and I believe he is a great asset to our program.”
Hostplus Head Coach, James Duncan believes Tanner is a key piece of the Bullets NBL23 roster.
“We’re happy to be bringing back Tanner to our core group of returning players. As he continues to develop, his toughness, character and professionalism is vital to our team.”
Tanner is thrilled to continue his professional career at the Bullets and ready to begin preparations for NBL23.
“I’m super excited to be back at the Bullets. I love the city of Brisbane and I can’t wait to play in front of our great fans,” Tanner said.
“I really look forward to start building the foundations for a successful season with my teammates and coaches. I know how hungry the team is and I’m thrilled to be a part of it.”
Tanner Krebs joins Nathan Sobey, Jason Cadee, Tyrrell Harrison, DJ Mitchell, Harry Froling and Kody Stattmann on the Brisbane Bullets 2022/23 roster with more signings to be announced soon.
